Together with a caring and committed team, SPIN supports people of all abilities to thrive at home, at school, at work, and in the community. We provide them with the skills and opportunities they need to build relationships, make choices-and above all-to stay healthy and safe.

SPIN started in Philadelphia in 1970 as a summer camp for children with intellectual disabilities. Created by a small, passionate group of families, Camp SPIN became a place where they could have fun and find mutual support. The program soon welcomed children without disabilities and SPIN's vision for the future was born: a world where people of all abilities and backgrounds feel valued, respected, and included.

We've since grown from a summer camp into a multi-service organization, but we've never lost touch with our roots. We work with and in the community to meet the changing needs of families. Across Greater Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley, we now support over 3,700 children and adults to enjoy a Life of Possibilities.
