Will Matczak: If I could pick a word, it would be opportunity. I came into from this neighbor to Congreso and started with the E3 Program, which is a GED Program. And they've given me a chance to do an internship and that internship has landed me my job that I've been having for about 5 years.

Congreso de Latinos Unidos enables individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods to achieve economic self-sufficiency and wellbeing.
Over the past four decades, Congreso has responded to the community's changing demographics and evolving needs by growing into a multifaceted, comprehensive provider of human services. Today, Congreso employs over 200 individuals and provides bilingual assistance to over 19,000 unduplicated clients annually through our three service areas; Education and Workforce, Family and Housing Services, and Health Promotion and Wellness. Through dedication to our community and to the individuals we serve, Congreso is transforming lives.
Congreso is a nationally recognized, community-based, nonprofit organization that has been strengthening Latino communities in Philadelphia for 40 years. Founded in 1977, Congreso began as a grass roots organization providing health service to the surrounding Puerto Rican community.
